Dublin’s first public library opened in 1914. In 1966, a new permanent location opened at Dublin Elementary School, and moved to its present-day location in April of 2003. Its current location is at Dublin’s Civic Center, 38,100 square feet. This building features dedicated spaces for children and teens, public space for computer use, and quiet rooms for group study.
In addition to the engaging areas for kids and teens, the building also has intriguing pieces of public art: “Know Way,” “Seasons,” and “Cutouts.”

Emerald Glen Park

Located on almost 50-acres of land, Emerald Glen Park in Dublin has many great features that provide hours of fun for families with children of all ages. Located at Tassajara Road and Central Parkway, this outdoor paradise features everything from splash pads, to barbecues, to bocce ball courts.
One of the park’s main features is the Emerald Glen Recreation and Aquatic Complex, which has two pools, a waterslide tower, a Splash Zone, and a community room. Other attractions include baseball, soccer, cricket, and softball fields; bocce ball courts; group picnic areas; a skate park; tennis and basketball courts; a playground with water features; restrooms; a rose garden; small picnic areas; trail access; and a water play area. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on leashes.
Emerald Glen Park also has an art installment commissioned by the city. The art installation is called “Divided Sea” by artist Ned Kahn from Sebastopol. This arched, 100 foot long water feature has stainless steel plates, flowing water, and mirrors.
Rockin’ Jump

Rockin’ Jump is a fun indoor trampoline park that is a place for families who want to exercise in a unique, exciting environment. Rockin’ Jump features open jump arenas, pools of soft foam cubes, trampoline dodgeball, and areas to practice somersaults and flips! Additionally, they open daily and great place to have safe, clean fun as a family!
The Open Jump Arena is the main attraction. Everyone can jump together and perform acrobatics while Rockin’ Jump staff monitor safety. The Slam Dunk Zone is a trampoline basketball court! Here, kids can leap high into the air and practice their best dunk. X-Beam is an attraction where kids can fight to maintain balance as they use a padded lance to try to knock their opponent into the pit of foam cubes. Additionally, The dodgeball arena combines the classic thrill of this timeless game with the excitement of trampoline fun.
