4. Play in the park:

There are plenty of great parks in San Francisco, but our favorites are Golden Gate Park and Dolores Park. Both parks have playgrounds, picnic areas, and plenty of space to run around. So you could find 10 fun things to do in San Francisco with kids by just exploring the parks!

5. Go for a bike ride:

San Francisco is a great place to explore by bike, and there are plenty of bike rental companies throughout the city. Kids will love riding along the waterfront, and they’ll get a great workout too!

The San Francisco Zoo is home to over 250 species of animals, and it’s a great place to spend a day with the kids. Be sure to visit the African Savanna, where you can see lions, zebras, and other animals roaming around.

7. Go to the beach:

San Francisco has some great beaches, and they’re perfect for a day of fun in the sun. My favorites are Ocean Beach and Baker Beach. Both beaches have plenty of room to play, and they’re perfect for building sandcastles.

8. Watch a show:

Kids will love watching the shows at the San Francisco Puppet Festival or the San Francisco Mime Troupe. Both groups perform regularly, and their shows are always family-friendly.

9. Take a ferry ride:

A ferry ride across the Bay is a great way to see the city from a different perspective. Kids will love being on the water, and they’ll get some great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz too.

10. Have a picnic:

San Francisco is a great place to picnic, and there are plenty of parks and green spaces to choose from. Pack a lunch and head to one of the city’s many parks for a fun-filled day in the sun.
