1. Domino’s Farms Petting Farm

If your kids love animals and enjoy a hands-on approach, then this Ann Arbor kids activity will be right up their street. Domino’s Farms Petting Farm is a non-profit organization that offers interested visitors the chance to learn all about the workings of a farm. It also lets you get up close and personal to the wonderful selection of adorable animals that live there.

Your kids will just love meeting the animals, and you’ll love that they’re learning at the same time. You can hitch a hayride, and your kids can get the chance to ride a pony. In the past, the farm has also put on a variety of exciting seasonal events such as Easter egg hunts, a Fall festival, sheep, alpaca, and llama shearing demonstrations, and honey extraction demonstrations.

2. AirTime Trampoline & Game Park

Moving to indoor Ann Arbor kids’ activities, for when the weather doesn’t quite co-operate with your plans, the AirTime Trampoline and Game Park is a fantastic way for kids to blow off some steam. It offers an assortment of activities, games, and music, as well as catering for kids of all ages. There is also a designated area known as Junior Jam for 5-year old’s and under. So the little ones can safely bounce and play to their hearts’ content.

3. The University of Michigan Museum of Natural History

Ann Arbor kids’ activities don’t come much more fun-filled than a trip to the Natural History Museum. The University of Michigan Museum of Natural History is free for individuals and families, and makes for an unforgettable day out.

Kids will marvel at the vast selection of exciting exhibits to explore, with everything from molecules to dinosaurs. The Planetarium and Dome Theater is an enchanting way to discover the distant universe beyond, and the child-friendly Investigate Labs will have your little ones conducting their very own science experiments!

4. Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum

I couldn’t finish this list without mentioning the Hands-On Museum. This Ann Arbor kids’ activity is a firm favorite with families and receives hundreds of rave reviews across the board. It’s the perfect place for kids to learn through play, with over 250-exhibits for all ages.

It allows them to discover and enjoy absorbing information in the fields of math, science, technology, engineering, and art. Highlights include an excellent exploring space for toddlers, complete with a wide range of water-based activities.
